I have four clematis vines around my place, all in varying shades of purple, but I think this one is my favourite. It's so bright and vibrant, it's almost fuschia.
Shot in evening light (the best!) because I looked for something interesting to shoot all day today, and came up empty.
It's one of those days.

Hey girlfriend! Nice shot! I think this is the same as my current clematises is this a shade variety? Mine current ones are shade (although one is in too much sun and I need to move it... I bought 2 more that were very different at Costco the other day, too, but the 2 new ones are full sun varieties ... I gotta fill up all that chain link fencing with pretty things!

It is in a good amount of shade though. And this one you do NOT cut back in the fall. My other ones you have to.
I love clematis. And they make me think of you! :)
