How do you spend a gorgeous summer day in small town anywhere?
Well, first you get yourself one of these ...
And make sure it's big enough to hoist up a truckton of these ...
And then ...
Wooot!!! Race ON!
There'll be a few stragglers, but the kids have that under control ...
They'll herd them up ...
and send them on their way ...
There'll inevitably be a showoff in the group to take the lead ...
But at the end of the day, there can only be one winner ...
(somebody won a thousand bucks, but it sure as hell wasn't me)
Can you guess which one is my shot for the day?

I have to be honest when I seen your little picture on flikr I was thinking "WTH?!?!?! they have LIVE DUCKS and they are dropping them in a river.... CRAZY!!" then I came over to your blog and have been educated on what a duck race is! Sorry you picked a not so speedy duck, better luck next year!!
