Before we get started, I just have to tell you guys that I have been enjoying your ‘celebrate’ photos from week twenty-seven SO much. And a few of you even attempted some light painting which I was totally thrilled to see. What a talented group we have. It makes me happy to see the flickr pool filled with new photos and inspiration, and if I haven’t said so lately, I’m so pleased that you continue to join me here each week.
Also, after some discussion last week, I’ve decided to listen to your suggestions and put the prompts up earlier on Sundays. The only reason I haven’t done so this year, is that it can cause confusion when posting in the flickr pool and trying to find the blog linkup here. So, although the new posts will go up earlier in the day, weekly linkups will continue to be open until Sunday evening at 9pm for the previous week, and I ask that you please hold off until then to submit your new week’s work to the flickr pool (the linkups here on the blog will start and end automatically at the normal times). Keep an eye on our flickr group title as it always lists the dates you should be following. Does that make sense? Basically, business as usual except you’re getting the new week’s prompt earlier. If you have any questions, you can always email me anytime.

Nice and simple, perfect for what promises to be a hot week ahead. Capture summer in whatever manner you choose and then come back here and share it with us (weeks run Sunday to Saturday, don’t forget!). Links must be to the direct URL of your actual work, not just to the site it’s posted in, and may be a link to your blog post or to your flickr photo (again, the actual photo, not your entire flickr stream). Also, please don’t link and run – try to find some time to visit at least a few of your fellow 52′ers. That’s half the fun! It’s a fact that those who link up early, get the most interaction on their work. Truth.
