I had no idea what to shoot today. I'm sure it won't be the last time that happens.
So I went in the green bin and got the eggshells from last night's banana bread. Shush ... they were clean.
Being another dreary winter day, I didn't have much to work with in the way of light. I took this on top of my stove with the light from the hood vent and omg I can't stand that pink tone.
Anyway, it's all I've got today.
Well, besides this, because you know I can't stop myself from mucking around ...

Hello? texture-making-people? I have an unhealthy addiction and you're feeding it. (thank you!)
I used three different textures, all from Paree Erica who is so astoundingly talented, I have no words. Seriously, go have a look at her work and tell me you don't leave in awe. She's amazing.
So tell me something ... I was really tempted to use the textured shot for my 365 today. But then I felt weird about it, because that's not what my project was supposed to be about. In my mind, I set out to do this to learn more about my camera and photography in general, post processing included. But texture is beyond post processing, isn't it? And it's not really what I set out to do, but I'm so intrigued by it and honestly, can't stay away from it.
Problem!
Hmmmm ... maybe next year I'll do a year of textures? Hey! That could be a plan ...
