For some reason, I've had that Will Smith song running through my head all day.

Or, it could be that I just watched that movie again the other night (pure cheeze).

Not the sharpest shot, but I like him.  I couldn't get close because he was at least two paddocks away from me (hence the blur) and I was lazy and didn't switch lenses.

But he watched me the whole time I was there and I felt a little guilty that I couldn't pet him or give him a treat.

I'm a soft touch :)

Everything looks so other-worldly in the fog.  I couldn't resist making it even more so ...

Black and white is here.  The original is not that pretty so it went in the trash.  Everything is melting around here (yay!) but that makes the ground a soggy mess and the melting snow has a layer of dirt on top of it.  Nasty.  Best remembered in prettier tones.  Honest :)

(and let's not forget all the little doggy 'presents' I narrowly missed stepping in ... lovely)

I'm always fascinated with these huge silos ...

Doesn't that little silver one almost look like a child's little toy?  It's quite huge, as is the barn, but everything looks dwarfed beside that hulking mass of concrete.

I love the rust stains :)

I also love the melting snow!  YAY!

I need to stop going to these kinds of places by myself.  I scare too easily.

Although I truly appreciate the beauty of places like this (otherwise why would I be there?) it usually only takes me about five or ten minutes to start freaking myself out.  I'm okay at first, happy and snapping away ... and then I'll hear some stupid noise, or see a shadow out of the corner of my eye (hopefully imaginary), and that's that.  I'm spooked.

But I'll tough it out for at least another few minutes.

And then I hightail it home, really fast.

Finally, a beautiful sunny day!

And yet, I turned this chocolate ...

It just seemed to work.  Plus I finally got to use that logo stamp I made in a way that I like.  It's very unobtrusive.

(so unobtrusive you can barely see it! geeez)

This was done using the Creamy Chocolate action from CoffeeShop.  Rita kicks ass.

This shot does not.  Kick ass, I mean.  It's just sort of there, nothing special about it at all.  But that's okay.  I'm tired.
