It's a tragic story, and not mine to tell.
and really, I have no words.

Already, the summer days are growing shorter.
Bummer.
Personally, I don't consider summer over until around, oh ... October-ish.
This shot isn't quite what I envisioned in my head, but I like it.

If I were keeping with the current Wednesday trend around here, you'd be looking at a shot of the magnolia bud right now.
You know what?
That magnolia bud still looks the same. Nothing happening there. A little bigger is all.
I took a shot of it anyway, just because. I think I'll just keep snapping it's progress and post it all when the damn thing finally (if ever) decides to show me some love in the form of pretty blooms.
But yes, you'd probably be looking at it right now, in all of it's boring glory ...
if this hadn't have happened ...
Now that's what I call glory.
